Contemporary / Modal Jazz /Trumpeter Tom Stringer leads a quintet of fantastic young players performing original contemporary jazz and arrangements reflecting influences ranging from the classical precision of modern master Wynton Marsalis, through the Modal Jazz to the free and avante garde music of Tomasz Stanko.

Good Evening has been collaborating with the Royal Albert to present great live music every Sunday night for over a decade. The program is rooted in Jazz ranging from its earliest forms to cutting edge contemporary fusions and everything in between, played by an ever growing circle of musicians from modern day masters to rising stars.
