Guitarist and composer Jean de Talhouët brings immersive contemporary Jazz blending spiritual grooves, polyrhythms and modal harmony realised by a bold and spirited ensemble. Dynamic in form and mood, the music morphs from hypnotic kinetics, to uplifting aerials and brooding contemplations, inspiring movement, joy and reflection along the way. It is a wish to celebrate life itself – the vital energy that exists in all living things. Jean draws inspiration from jazz greats such as Wayne Shorter and Joe Henderson, as well as the European jazz scene at large.

Good Evening has been collaborating with the Royal Albert to present great live music every Sunday night for over a decade. The program is rooted in Jazz ranging from its earliest forms to cutting edge contemporary fusions and everything in between, played by an ever growing circle of musicians from modern day masters to rising stars.
