Blending blues, rock, singer-songwriter and classical music influences, guitarist Jack Gillen brings expressive, emotive and exciting new jazz music. Citing guitarists John Scofield, Bill Frisell and Julian Lage as key influences, Gillen has a distinctive voice and composition style of his own, realised and amplified by rhythm heavyweights Darren Beckett and Phil Donnelly at the drums and bass respectively.

Good Evening has been collaborating with the Royal Albert to present great live music every Sunday night for over a decade. The program is rooted in Jazz ranging from its earliest forms to cutting edge contemporary fusions and everything in between, played by an ever growing circle of musicians from modern day masters to rising stars.
