Arfoud Brothers and Sisters bring the heady eclectic sound of Dessert Jazz! Expect echos of Morocco, music beyond borders, driving rhythms, insistent percussion, psychedelic guitars, irresistible melodic mirages and to awake with sand on your pocket.

Taking their name from the Arfoud, a Saharian city in modern day Morocco with deep links to the Amazigh heritage of the region (and famed for it’s bountiful date palms), the band draw on Arabic and Amazigh roots combined with afrobeats, West african music and Brazilian sounds.

Good Evening has been collaborating with the Royal Albert to present great live music every Sunday night for over a decade. The program is rooted in Jazz ranging from its earliest forms to cutting edge contemporary fusions and everything in between, played by an ever growing circle of musicians from modern day masters to rising stars.
