At the Royal Albert, there are two steps from street level to enter the pub. Once inside, all customer areas are on a single level.

We are committed to making our pub as accessible and welcoming as possible for all customers. We offer step-free access where possible, accessible toilet facilities, and flexible seating arrangements. Our team is always happy to assist with any specific needs. Please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can help make your visit comfortable.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your mobility scooter into the venue.
Food and Drink

We serve food until 9:30pm Monday – Saturday and until 9pm Sunday.

We can accommodate all major dietary requirements. If it is not clear on the menus which dishes are suitable for your requirements, do not hesitate to ask our team, who will clarify.

I’m afraid our meat is not halal, but we offer a variety of seafood and vegetarian dishes that our guests enjoy.

We offer a variety of drinks and food packages that cater to every style of event.We update our menus and fabulous event packages seasonally, so if your event is later in the year, please use these as a reference only for the time being.
General FAQ

We are located just a 5 minute walk away from New Cross station, which serves The Windrush Line and Southeastern rail. With direct trains from London Bridge taking just 6 minutes. Multiple bus routes also stop outside The Royal Albert; including the 453, 53, 177 and 21. If visiting by car, there is paid for parking available across New Cross, and the option of pre-bookable private driveways via JustPark.

We always recommend booking at busy times, to avoid disappointment, but we are very happy to accept walk-ins.

We strictly prohibit the use of electronic cigarettes or vapes inside our spaces; however, you are more than welcome to use them outside.

You are always welcome to bring your furry friends and family along with you, as our bars are dog-friendly indoors and outdoors. If they would like a bowl of water, just let a member of staff know, and we would be happy to provide one.

Children are more than welcome at the Royal Albert. We can provide highchairs or space for buggies, if needed. Please let us know in advance.

Yes, we show major terrestrial sports such as the World Cup, Euros and Rugby and others upon request.

If you are ordering alcohol, we operate Challenge 21. If you are lucky enough to look 21 or under, please be prepared to show your ID to our team.
